I normally shoot people and events so not 100% on landscapes but I woke early today and took the opportunity to head down to beach for sunrise. Any constructive comments appreciated!

Hi Suftum,

I really like the second one. With the greys outnumbering the limited colour, it really is a case of less is more.

Nice composition, too.

I also like the second one and would punch it up a bit.

Both photos are good and agree with others to bring color up a bit. Your second one is also my fav, could be a layout for painting or puzzle!

Oh forgot to ask where is the locations? Might be worth a trip.

Yes, #2 is a beauty. You could ‘punch it up’ as Sabrina suggested which is personal preference, but I like this one just as you have presented it. Looks very natural.

I wanted to try and keep it as natural as possible - I just lifted the shadows in the foreground a little but sky is pretty much as is. Thanks!
