So many cameras!

to bad that the Lens of the FZ 2000/2500 is not as good as that on the FZ1000

for me if i have to have only one camera , that is my Choice

Perhaps the Canon G3X m2 should be interesting
 
Now I wish a company would bring out a 18-50/70/90 lens. Preferably in a compact or m43. Heck I would even take this lens with a Sony Alpha body (or probably not, concerning the necessary budget). So far I do quite well with the NX12-24 plus primes (30, 45, 60). But a wide to normal or portrait zoom would be great.

Any high-end compact from panasonic or canon would cover all my needs if needed.

A panasonic LX100 or canon G9X/G1X etc. would be perfect for the purpose.
