At the bottom of the feature list it says, there's a new Sony Imaging Software Suite announced alongside the A7rIII, the link that follows is dead though: https://www.sony.com/electronics/interchangeable-lens-cameras/ilce-7rm3/specifications#features

Has anybody heard of the suite it's user-Interface / and capabilities? Screenshots?

Using my a7rII as a studiocamera would be so much nicer with a proper tethering tool. The A7rIII making use of the fast transferrates of the new USB 3.1 should be particulary fine for that. Combined with a Baveyes 645 to FE Speedbooster it would be a dooropener for budget-friendly medium format studiophotography on a fullframe body... Sadly the A7rII will suffer badly from the limited bandwith of USB 2.0, which is a shame on a 3000€+ camera.

No news from me, but thanks for sharing. I really hope this new software has live view on the tethered screen.

Live viewing on the computer screen with semitransparent reference overlay capability is available during tethered shooting -

Thats is what is written in the description.

I hope this also applies on former Sony bodies...

This video from TheCameraStoreTV actually briefly shows the live view tethering in action:

(go to about 3:10)

I am excited and hopefully will work with A6500 and A7RII
