Will all Sigma lenses fit the SD9 (even Nikon mounts, etc)?

Just wondering if Sigma lenses that you see for sale on, say, Ebay, that say "blah blah blah 100-300mm for Minolta" or Nikon or Canon, will those lenses fit the SD9 necessarily? Or would I need to be looking for ones that specifically list Sigma as a camera the lens will fit? I'm looking for a telephoto zoom lens, an EX would be nice, and I see some fairly good deals on Ebay. Thanks in advance!

Anyone who has experience SD9 with different brand lens (pentax PK, Canon, etc).
How look good?

ucsbgaucho,

I came across a website that makes adapters for Nikon and Canon lenses to fit Sigma SD-9s - if I read it correctly. I didn't do anything beyond a quick look and a bookmark.j

That should do it. Let me know what you think, Dominic.

As I pointed out there, the truth "remains elusive". My understanding, not yet verified, is that they can change Canon EOS to Sigma SA, since the difference is little more than a flange. The Nikon and others are a "completely different system" because they have mechanical linkages for focus and aperture, while EOS and SA are all-electronic.

Someone should ask them again to clarify...

We will love to see your picture. Any good sharper? Out of Focus?
