The tinest endemic Bornean Pygmy Squirrel. Just imagine the body is only 7cm in lenght and additional 5cm belongs to the tail. 12cm animal in total :-)

Almost night shot, when Green Crested Lizard found its resting branch where pend whole night. Usually you find the tail first, than follow it to reach lizard itself. I tried to make similar working image.

Black-crowned Pitta is endemic and elusive bird from rainforest grounds. It was almost dark when I took the shot so I used a bit extremly long time to get most of the lights. Fortunatelly Pitta stay almost motionless.

What a great selection of images, but that first shot is about as good a use of the 8mm f1.8 as I have seen. Excellent.

I love the lens. Very useful for closeups and even star photography and tiny as Bornean squirrel :-D

Amazing set of pictures from an amazing set of lenses :-D

Those are beautiful photos! I don't think I'd be able to make such a nice composition with a snake staring me in the face! Awesome!

Yes, I had 8mm/1.8 and 75mm/1.8 for testing. Both are interesting lenses indeed :-)

:-) I love snakes, all were very tame :-)

Many thanks! :-)

very much for sharing. always nice to see the other side of the world.

-pit viper captured at 24mm?!? :)

Wonderful images, thanks for sharing them!

Breathtakingly beautiful!

I think your photos are probably the best ad for Olympus since Eric Hosking and his OM-2.

Thank you for sharing those, they are just wonderful. Someone noted: An image of a pit viper made with a very wide lens? EEK! Ha! I would have used the 300mm lens.

Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing

Fantastic series of captures. Striking subjects wonderfully captured and presented.

Why you are not featured in the Pro Gallery on the Olympus site has got me beat? The images you have been sharing here are easily the best I have seen using OMD gear.
