We have the first 2 lens for UWA and low light respectively and are considering replacing both with the Rokinon on a A7R2. The Rokinon in FF mode seems to stop vignetting at 16mm or so and in theory could replace both.

Any experience/feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jack

I can see the point of replacing the VC15 with a R15 (even if I really like the former, compact and very well built), but it's not at all the same FoV (and use) than a 28mm!

I have never heard of a Rokinon 15mm F2. Are you sure you have this right? Maybe you have already answered your question since the lenses doesn't exist. ;-)

WestO,

You are absolutely correct! This is the lens I was referring to.

Sorry for the confusion. The question is still the same and the 16mm FF crop reference (at 13.5 MP+/-) is correct.

Thanks for the correction!

Jack

Got it. Now I understand. The lens is wonderful on APSC. Here are some images I shot with it on my FF A7.
