Artsy and original bird shot, I like it!

Hard to say if it would be better when totally sharp. The image is a bit strange (in the good way) and probably the blurriness strengthens it.
 
I agree that it isn't a sharp focus. However, this photo has a flow of the wings by layer. Almost as if the feathers were in sync with the flow of the water. I love a clear focus but I do like this photo from the view that different is in the eye of the beholder! I found it to be interesting. Thank you for sharing it.

Don't say "lucky shot". Tell how years of dedicated effort and sitting in a cold blind sucking a peach pit for three days finally paid off!
