**Weekly X Series Photo Thread 23 JUL - 30 JUL **

In preparation for a shiny new desktop, I'm culling my photo library and while doing so I came across some photos shot in Oahu back in 2014. I'd had my X-E1 for a less than a year was transitioning from a JPG to a RAW shooter and was still enamored with the in camera panorama feature. All taken with 18-55mm zoom, and adjusted and cropped in LRCC.

Some of the keepers from my first wedding shoot. I am moderately happy with them. Still figuring out the editing phase :D

Hi. First time posting shots here :D

Where are you?

5 more minutes..

I've been learning to use my 56mm for street/snapshots. My usual lens to go is the 35/2, but, recently I've been attending some weddings and need a bit wider one, so I bought the 23/2 while keeping the 56mm for portraiture. Didn't expect to enjoy it in street due to its weight and (slight) focusing noise. There's still some missfocus here and there as well, but, I just love its sharpness and bokeh :D

Amazing series! Did you focus manually or AF? Was it fast enough?

Just picked up an X-T1 about a week ago after a couple hear hiatus from photography. Slowly re-learning lightroom!

Great set of images. #1 is stellar. I really like the composition in #5.

Unfortunately the electronic shutter was selected, which might have screwed a bit with the birds proportions

The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.
