I'll keep this simple. This camera is amazing. I've owned several long zoom enthusiast cameras, but all had a 2/3 sensor. The 1" sensor plus an excellent quality zoom lens and superior auto focus make this camera a real winner. I continue to be amazed by the quality of shots it takes under a wide range of conditions.
 
I've had my FZ1000 since they first came out and I couldn't agree with your more. It is a great camera.
