The wife and I braved the 105-degree Sacramento heat today to go sit for a while outside on the patio at a coffee shop, and with a hot breeze blowing, I captured a few shots of surrounding flora and a bird.

Have not had many opportunities lately to use my camera, but surely it is a blessing to have the camera with me and a few minutes to gaze through the viewfinder!

True, some of these are a bit over-exposed, but they captured the day nonetheless....

Especially like the 1st and 2nd. I don't see any over exposure in there.

Nice images! Keep up the good work - the more you shoot, the more you get used to that camera.

Especially like the 1st and 2nd. I don't see any over exposure in there.

Thank you.....I feel there is a slight loss of detail in the highlights on those light-yellow-white flowers, but the images do look better here than on my smartphone....
