I have an Xt2 with the battery grip and two Fuji batteries. I'm traveling to England and will be shooting daily so I will need to recharge the batteries each night. What is the best way to go about this? Do I need to take the grip charger and the camera charger or is there another method. Thanks for the input.

If you are confident that two batteries can last you a full day, then the best option would be putting the two batteries in the grip, no battery in the body (yes it works), and only take the grip charger.

Also, some spare batteries are never a bad idea.

Buy an extra set of 3rd party batteries and you'll have 2 chargers for 4 batteries, assuming you already have a charger for the Fuji ones.

Buy a USB charger for the battery and maybe an extra battery. The charger is so small and can supplant the original Fuji charger. Very easy to carry. Can charge from a battery pack or mains with a micro usb. Many companies make the charger available from Amazon.

And of course you'll need something like this:

You'll probably use two or three batteries shooting per day which you'll want to recharge at night. A single battery charger will be a pain as you'll have to keep swapping the batteries out to charge them all.

The VPB charger will charge the two batteries in the grip quickly and simultaneously. You can use a USB charger and cable to charge the in camera battery at the same time without removing it from the camera. The USB cable will also give you an emergency charging option should your main charger fail on the trip.

Here's a generic tip for traveling abroad.
Try to pick up a really compact 4 socket power strip with a really short lead (to keep it compact and light). You then only need one US to UK adapter to allow you to plug in all your appliances in your hotel room. You might even be able to find one with USB outlets so you don't have to carry a USB charger at all.

+1

I have found this invaluable as apart from cameras to charge there are phones and iPads etc.

That's a great tip as I will have two phones to also charge. Can I use my regular iPhone charger with a USB cord to safely charge the camera.

USB charger FTW

Mine is only slightly bigger than a battery itself, and I power it from a slim, phone-sized backup battery when I don't have a wall outlet near.

Pro tip: most TVs have a USB outlet on them somewhere. I've charged devices with hotel TVs on many occasions. USB charger makes this easy peasy.
