Does anyone know whether an adapter will be available for the 10D that will allow use of the new 300D lenses?

2. why the HELL would you use such cheap aass aps-sensor-lens on your 10d?

The new lens extends too far into the camera body. It would foul the mirror on older cameras. The 300D has a new-design mirror made to co-exist with the lens.

Don't expect an adaptor.

Presumably you could have a special made which included a tube long enough to free the mirror. But spending good money turning a cheap WA zoom into a macro?

This is why I think that the 10D will be replaced very soon, either with a 1.6x camera that CAN thake the EF-S lenses or with a bigger sensor in the current 10D body.

It does not make any sense to have a 10D size sensor in a Canon camera that will not take the EF-S lenses.

Canon will make DX-alike lenses for their 'normal' body types. So that the lenses will become cheaper (I hope) due smaller usage of glass, but then again... the glass must be better because of the small optics. We'll see...
