Arinanto,
Nothing worse than hardware problems.

My experience with Windows XP has been that it should load the
drivers automatically for your USB. The fact you had to load
anything is a red flag to me.
What I meant was that I installed the USB drivers from CD-ROM
provided from V1 inside the box.
When the camera is connected, have you tried running Windows
Explorer (Right click on START then click on EXPLORE)? You should
see the camera's memory stick as another drive. You should be able
to browse through the pics on the memory stick.
Everytime I connect the V1 to my PC, I can see the memory stick as
another drive (and can browse through the pictures as well), but
the problem is that after a while an error message comes out says
that the camera has been disconected, and the memory stick
disappear from 'my computer' in the Windows Explorer.
Also, when you run Image Transfer, is this a Windows application or
something that came with the V1? I never loaded ANY programs from
Sony...Windows XP has all the utilities you should need.
Image Transfer is a software from V1. Even when I use the utilities
from WinXP, the problem still the same (the camera disconnected
after some times) and totally cannot access the memory stick
(disappear from Exporer).

Steve
Hi guys,
I'm having problem with my DSC-V1 connection with my PC. when using
the Image Tranfer to download the pictures from memory stick into
my PC (windows XP), suddenly got disconnected in the middle of
tranfers.
Sometimes got the "hi-connection USB device connected into
non-hi-speed USB port" message, occasionally.
already install the USB 2.0 drivers for my PC.
