Question about B&H and holiday ordering

So I am trying to order a Nikon D750 that is only on sale until midnight ET Saturday. But they are on holiday and not processing orders until 12:01 on Sunday. I am able to add the item to my cart, but not checkout. So I am guessing the price will adjust once midnight has hit Saturday has hit (and before I can finish my ordering) and I will lose the ability to order at the discount. Kind of like when I leave things in my Amazon cart, and days later they have often have adjusted prices.

Should I order from somewhere else that has the sale price (like Adorama). I prefer B&H, but don't want to lose the chance for the sale price.
 
I would hope you get the sale price if it was added to your cart before the deadline, but I don't know that will happen.

Just to be on the safe side I'd order from Adorama if they have a sale price that's competitive with B&H. As much as I like B&H, Adorama is just as reliable and trustworthy.
 
I believe they are closed only for their observance of Shabbat, as they are every Friday until after sunset Saturday. The website indicates you may checkout at 2145 tomorrow. They will even send you an email when checkout is available.When contemplating the purchase through B&H, of a time limited offer which has been available for two months, it is never good to wait until after they close on Friday evening, the day before that offer expires, before deciding to proceed.

Most of us here know when B&H is closed, which includes Saturdays. This has been true for decades. When I'm in NYC, I always make sure that, for example, I remember that I only have half of a day to shop on Fridays. This has been dealt with by a number of threads here.

That being said, if there is some problem with the discount price, just call them when they open and they'll probably adjust it - their customer service is excellent.
 
I do know about their policy of being closed on Saturday as I have bought $$$$$$ of equipment from them in the past. It had just been a while since I ordered and I wasn't paying attention. I also just found out about the sale and after doing some reviewing of the d750 made my decision to purchase at the last minute. I have been buying most of my camera equipment through Amazon lately as they have similar or better prices and I get free 2-day shipping and 5% back on my Amazon card. That being said they are not participating in this Nikon $500 rebate.

On a good note it looks like the deal runs out midnight eastern time on Saturday and they start processing orders again at 9:45 Eastern on Saturday. So I have a little over two hour window to put my order in. I will likely stay with B&H for this order. Although Adorama has a similar package kit with the free Nikon battery grip and some other accessories as wel

I am sorry for any confusion. I'm not sure where you are located. B&H runs on NYC time. Order entry resumed Saturday evening at 9:45pm Eastern time. Our site includes a countdown clock and the option to have us email you so you don't miss a time-sensitive opportunity.

The Nikon D750 is covered by Nikon USA's unilateral price plan. Authorized US retailers may not discount their minimum price by $1. They are strict and penalties can be severe.

For the future -- order entry is offline every Fri evening and Saturday until sunset NYC time.

Hey Henry thanks for the direct response. I think it's awesome how active you are around here. Yeah I noticed the slight gap between the cutoff for the rebate and when the ordering restarted. So I set a reminder on my phone and was able to get the camera ordered during the two-hour window. I love you guys and do everything I can to order from you, even though there are some other good alternatives.
