Canon WE-1 wi-fi

I ordered a Canon WE-1 wi-fi card from Amazon last April 29th. After 5 weeks it still hasn't been shipped yet.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay for the WE-1?

I wanted to buy one when they first came out. I had to wait until after Christmas last year for it to show up. Canon must produce only very few and supply has been limited from the beginning.

I think because of few Canon models that support the W-E1 card, third party vendors are reluctant to stock the card in quantity, and just have a few in stock at one time. Amazon is notorious for not letting people know when items have been back-ordered!! I ordered and received a used W-E1 card in a few days from a third-party vendor through Amazon, but shipped by vendor, not Amazon!!! You may have better luck ordering directly from Canon.

I ordered from B&H. I waited 2 months then cancelled the order.

I bought it from Ebay from some shop base in Hong Kong. It took 5 days to arrive.

Thanks. I canceled the Amazon order (which still hasn't shipped even though it was predicted to do so yesterday) and placed my order through eBay. I've already received an email from the NJ vendor that it has already been shipped to me.
