FYI, according to my chat with BH Photo, Body Only is showing an ETA of 06/11/17 currently.
 
I see Amazon now has some in stock from Cameta Camera, but no order update yet on the one I ordered through Amazon.com itself.

Only 5 left in stock - order soon. Get it as soon as June 8 - 12 when you choose Standard Shipping at checkout.

LOoks like B&H now shows "in stock" as well, despite what their customer service told me this morning.

The Amazon stock is through Cameta though, not yet the actual Amazon.com stock. Cameta seems reputable enough though from past experiences with them, but if you pre-ordered from Amazon.com, no date yet.

That's true! ..I also did by bidding with Amazon.com LLC and no words from them yet.. but I actually prefer dealing with Amazon.com LLC anyways.. I'll be waiting patiently.. ;-)
 
..on the other hand, B&H says they have the D7500 "in stock".. which means the camera will be out to people soon, and we'll have some "hands-on" real world looks soon.. :-)
 
Amazon's stock is limited based on dealer allocation. Even if they get stock on initial release, an order placed today won't be receiving any of that stock due to earlier orders that are fulfilled first. Same with B&H and other big retailers. Best Buy locations get an allocation but don't have a wait list, so you can get lucky and pick up a camera occasionally if you are there the day received.
 
Check this out.. there's shows a vendor on Amazon selling the D7500 for $100 more than the retail price..

That's the free market for you. You have it, people want it, you set your price. Those who are impatient will bite.
