A few shots from this combo in the title. Overall, pretty decent. As typical with the Canon EF to EF-M adapter, the AF does hunt a little in these dynamic shots, but it does hit the mark for the most part.

Close focusing is good with this 24mm EF-S lens!

Again, I am happy with this lens. I am quite curious how the EF-M 22mm f/2 would compare. Hopefully I will be able to snag one soon!

Nice shots. Just out of interest, why did you use ISO 400? The shutter speeds were high enough to shoot at ISO 100.

I had the EF-S and took it back and got the EF-M 22mm instead. One, it's smaller. Without the adapter, it makes it a pocket camera with the 22mm on it. The 24, while small, but then the adapter makes it thick.

The extra stop down to f2 is nice, really nice bokeh. The autofocus is silent. Probably a slight bit of better quality it seems too.

unedited, but even in late evening I was still able to get it bright with only ISO160, and still pretty clear detail.

Ask and ye shall receive...I just did a ton of lens testing, and found that the 24mm EF-S f/2.8 STM has a noticeable edge over the EF-M 24mm f/2. Comparisons were made at f/11 with auto and manual focus. The EF-M 22mm did really well, the EF-S 24 was just some better. Enough that I'll use it when absolute size isn't a major issue.

Of course the 22 has a size and speed advantage and I didn't test wide open. I will eventually. I should point out the the test were just of my book shelf, no lens test chart, I have one but haven't gotten it mounted flat yet, and LR processing was kept as similar as possible.

Also, tested the EF 28mm f/2.8 IS, and it is better than either the 22 or 24...but larger too.

I got mine on eBay for $130 from a shop in Japan. It arrived very well wrapped in a cocoon of bubble wrap. I have no complaints, it is a great lens. Even does does decent macro for what it is. I do want to get a real macro lens and the new 35mm f2.8 EF-S looks very promising.

I look forward to seeing your test results at wide open!

Very noisy result, trying to have such a short exposure time does not have any valid reason.

Something went wrong (in post processing or RAW software?), around the sun we see a green yellow instead of a orange one. Not good...

The short exposure, as I mentioned earlier, was because I was trying to belay the effects of the wind. I realize I had it probably a bit too fast on the exposure. It happens. Also, I used the NIK HDR Efex software on the above image, which accounts for the green halo around the sun, which I decided not to correct.

See above. Thanks for the constructive critique (as usual).

Even 1/60th will more or less freeze the water movement.
It happens.
Yeah, I know... I often mess up myself. Usually on the slow side of the scale :-O
