Hey All,

I would like to get a second battery for my Fuji XT-1. Originally I bought my battery at my local camera shop, but I was hoping to save a bit of money on amazon for a second battery. Does anyone have a recommendation for a legit battery on amazon for my XT-1. There are a lot of options and I'm nervous about buying the wrong one.

Thanks for your help in advance,

Sincerely,
Daniel

Are you asking about a genuine Fujifilm or a third party battery?

I'm open to either! I just want to ensure if it's a third party battery, it's one of high quality that will work.

I bought a 3-pack of the DOT-01 brand from Amazon for my X-T1 and have had decent performance. Not quite as long-lasting as the Fuji model, but fine in every other aspect. Good value for the price imho.

Did your 3-pack include the DOT-01 branded charger? If so, how was the charger?

When I shot the XT-1 and with every other system I use I never skimp on the battery to save $20. I see the XT-1 and whatever lenses you have spent several thousands and how can $20 break the bank for the reliability and backing of what will work.

Sure you can debate manufacture glass vs 3rd party in the general sense but these digital cameras live and die by the power supply.

I would just buy the Fuji brand battery new or used. I sold my Fuji batteries when I sold some gear etc.

This is just personal choice, sure. I have my comfort level and I need to know stuff works and if it does not I don't want to worry about any warrantee issues, any hiccups even though may used 3rd party batteries that is a a personal call

I use Watson batteries and have always been completely satisfied with them. I have gotten mine from B&H Photo but Amazon also carries them now. Plus, if you have prime, the shipping is free.

Yes, charger is fine and came with car adapter and European plug. I haven't tried either adapter yet though. The charger plugs directly into a wall socket and the battery is tight enough to stay in at vertical.

Hi,

I have Patona Batteries. I had used one of this brand in my Casio and use now two in several Fujis. Never had any issues and I use the same two Patonas since years.

I have read a online test of batteries (do not remember where) which said that the Patonas and one other brand have the same capacity as the genuine batteries.

Cheers

Tox

Try Patona batteries.

I have 5 of them for XP1 and XT1 untill 2012/2014 : work nice !

I own three fuji and four patona batteries and they all work flawlessly, but I you want to read a more professional aproach:

Hope it helps.

Your question has nothing to do with Amazon, they sell things...don't make things. What third party battery are you thinking of?

No real loyalty to amazon I just like the convenience of Amazon Prime!

I've been shooting Wasabi with my X-M1 and X-T2 for several years, haven't had an issue. You can find them here, most people like the charger better than fuji's.
