Hi,

I wonder if it's possible to retrieve the original shutter count of a FZ1000. The camera shop where I bought my FZ1000 claims they can read out the number of actuations.

Is this really possible?
They do this to check how much a camera has been used when people return their camera within the legal return period.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Chris

I tried this 3 times on myfz1000 and couldn't get it to work. I suspect the problem is me and my fat fingers.Doing those simultaneous button presses on the quite small controls seems to be beyond my fingers' ability to contort. :-)

what was your count

here is what my fz1000 is showing

Tried it a couple more times and finally got the fingerwork right. My shutter count is a paltry 1704. Nice little piece of treasure. Gotta print it off and keep it somewhere I can lose it! :-)
