Please post your ARTISTIC shots - 100% YOUR choice: "Found ART", Painting (whether actual paint, or Digital Paint), whatever strikes you.

PP Art is encouraged - CREATIVITY COUNTS!

Since it is ART, try to keep the "C&C" comments minimal: It's ART, after all.

NO restriction as to equipment - from pinhole to scanner, any brand or kind is OK !

When posting, please reply to this post and CHANGE the title to a title you have chosen for your work, so we know what is being commented on.

PP Art is encouraged - CREATIVITY COUNTS!

Please, no pictures after Friday, Saturday June 2 - a new thread will be opened June 3

Viking 9 posted at the end of last week's thread, an interesting Architectural detail:

Devil and Lovers, Rosslyn Chapel, Scotland. Sculpted early 15th century.

View: original size

Taken on a visit to Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland (featured in the movie "The Da Vinci Code") with an Olympus C-2500L in June 2001.

Photography inside the chapel has since been banned.

This reminded me of the corbels I have "holding up" the beams in my "Great Room". This one, in the dining area, is my favorite:

That's very nice, Erik. Did you get your butler to take that photo? ;-)

This mosaic graces the wall of a building in the little harbour below my house. It commemorates the occasion on 22 September 1846 when Brunel's great steamship 'SS Great Britain' ran aground in the bay on its fifth voyage from Liverpool to New York .

Why, yes - how preceptive of you - the butler did indeed make the photograph, albeit the butler, cook, gardener and general dogsbody, and the carpenter who did the woodwork is myself, per se.

Wonderful; colourful, celebrating heroism and the great ships of Isambard Kingdom Brunel - and they don't make names like that anymore!

They certainly don't. Thank you, Erik.
