Just wonderful, Marco.

Awesome capture Marco: This image really has a wow factor, thanks for sharing. ;)

Those houses are very close to the shoreline, lets hope there's never a tsunami ...

Jozef.

Since the volcanic explosion of Thera (Santorini) +/_ 4 millennia ago, tsunamis are rare in the Mediterranean Sea. The most recent date of February 23, 1887 in ...Liguria indeed! There are no noticeable tides, and space is scarce

Marco perfectly demonstrates the deep character of the Mediterranean civilization, that constant tension of human implantation, made up of overlapping challenge and confidence. Just remember of Ulysses and his complex relationship to the Sea.

This threatening sky and these close waves: the Gods watch us, tolerate us, but remind us at every moment of our extreme precariousness...

Absolutely astounding... Turner would probably have loved this sky, but we will never know how his brushes and skills would have compared to yours and your SDQ H...
Light/skies have not changed in millennia, Turner left 19,000 observations so I guess we can know ............. all online from the Tate......

....... his relationship with Poseidon perhaps? I think of "rosy-fingered dawn" and "wine dark sea" but not of upside-down sky/sea values ...........

......... sorry, - it's a nice photo but filtering has taken this image beyond poesy and philosophy; perhaps you should think Blake instead of Homer ...?

A sublime shot. Congratulations!
