A photo far from perfect but I liked the final result. The yellow light on the left is the moon getting ready to appear.

Very nice ;)

Very nice! I almost bought this lens the other day while it was on sale but dragged my feet a little too long. It is back to regular price now.

May I ask about the settings. Is that at 1.8? How long was the exposure? Did you find it hard to get focus set to infinity with that lens?

Thank you very much.

The specific shot was at f2.2 and a 20 second exposure with ISO 3200.

The focusing is easy . Exactly on spot with infinite line on the lens

Very very kewl!

Yes, but the Head on the right is ready to disappear???

Great result, especially for a "Shutter speed 10000 sec" ! ... that's what it says when the mouse hover over your photo on DPR ;-)

Well, thanks for taking us down to earth with your own explanation : "f2.2 and a 20 second exposure with ISO 3200" is more in touch with the beautiful colors...

By the way, did you try the AstroTracer mode ?

Best regards, Fred

Dear Fred I am always using astrotracer up to 30 secs exposures with my 14mm as the moving foreground effect becomes visible after that.

Beautiful image, especially the subtle treatment of the crops in the foreground. Nicely processed

Very nice!

I am still waiting to see this lens in stock anywhere in the UK as I definitely want to add it to my landscape lens collection for the K1. I have seen some superb photos taken with it so far. :)

Ian.
