Thanks,

Did you AF or MF ?

Remarkable sharpness.

Which adapter did you use?

Certainly a great ad for the Tamron.

Cheers

Well done. Nice and sharp. Makes me want to get that lens.

Can you tell us what lens mount on your Tamron and what adapter did you use?

As a long time fellow Tamron 150-600 owner, I am always suprised at what this lens can do. Pairing with the A7s seems to work very well too.

Love the interesting variety of birds in this series. Oh and some great BIF ( bee-in-flight) action too!

Hello,

I should have said it sorry : AF with LA-EA4 and A mount version of the Tamron,

Have a nice weekend !

A fine collection of textbook examples - well done!

Seems like the 7s is terrific unless printing very big.
Hi !

Thank you very much for the kind words !

Let me explain my experience.

I tried APSC cameras, FF cameras with more pixels etc ... and what happend ? As I mainly do photos in dim light in forest and between sept to marsh (because then there are too much leaves and I cant see the little birds anymore) cameras with more pixels are mainly useless in my case. So as I use 10k to 20k ISO I need a High ISO monster. But maybe one day I'll buy a 7R2 for summer time ?

Thank you so much for your very kind comment !!

My mistake but the bee photo with the red flower has been done with the Tamron 70-300, all the other with the 150-600. Really sorry !!

ps : I had to do a micro AF adjustement to get the best of this lens

I was aout to ask for the bee, but it seemed a big combo ( not so easy) to get the bee in flight

Well done though !

Tank you for responding.

My real life images are usually looked at on screen and I do not print big. Also have a pair of the original A7 cameras and am looking for a new one now. Am not into video.

The A7SII is very temting but the low pixel density have been holding me back for a while. But it is very temting to go for ISO800-1600 as the standard setting, and going hand held way into the twilight hours.

So great to read about your hands on experience with this camera!
