Mars Image Picked Up!

Please forgive the self promotion, but I was excited to see that my Mars image, taken with a 5.5" telescope and a Sony digital video camera (my only claim to being close to on-topic in this forum), was picked up as part of an AP story. See this link. Joe

Well done! And your pic is in good company, seeing as the only other one in the article is from Hubble, and you have to click a few times to find it.

Thanks everyone for kind words about the Mars image!

Ulysses, I have stored about an hour's worth of video taken on steady nights over the past two weeks that I'll process into single images over the weeks, months, (years?) to come. Hopefully, as stacking software and my technique improves, I'll be able to pull better and better images from this archive. Regards, Joe
