SimpleTech CF Cards Tight Fit in G3

Both SimpleTech CF cards I own are difficult to eject from my G3. I don't have this problem with any other CF card manufacturers. I'm wondering if this will wear out the "ejection button" prematurely. Has anyone else encountered this situation and what are your thoughts? Thanks in advance, Jeff.
 
I use the Simple Tech 256mb cards in my G5 and in my Canon S400 and thus far have had no problems. I cannot tell any difference as compared to my Viking 128mb cards.

--I have a new G3 and purchased a SimpleTech 256MB card for it and it too is tight and I really have to get a good grip on the end of the card to pull it out -- the ejector seems to work great and I see no problem in the offing.

I suspect it might get easier with use -- have only had it out 3 times now.

My Simpltech 512 Type II card works & fits fine. I actually leave it in the camera all of the time, so cannot comment on possible damage....I higly doubt it though. It does not fit any more tight than the OEM 32mb card.

I have the same card and the few times I've taken it out have been easy. I have not noticed a difference from the 32MB that came with the camera (eventhough it is a Type I).

Last month I bought 2 SimpleTech 512MB CF Type I cards.

One was a tight fit and required significant effort to remove. The other came out easily--just like my other CF cards. Since I always use a memory card reader (Asante Gini), I promptly exchanged the first one.

I have a Simple Tech 256 mb and no problem in my G3.
