Very lovely (wish I could go today!).

What lens were you using? (info says "lens: 00000")

It is the new Panaleica 12-60 2.8-4

These shots were taken at the lake Dobiachio near Toblach and in the Cadoro Valley.

Some really nice images there - except perhaps the one with the 3.99mm lens ;-) Just kidding.

Looks like you would have done well with just a 12mm prime on your GH5.

Lots of good capture. This one is my favorite since i can just imagine standing on that deck in awe of that view!

Lovely shots - gorgeous place

Just curious

I cannot help but for some unknown reason I tend to prefer JPG from GH5 over LR RAW. It is strange as I was all the time preferring RAWs. And I do not mean colors&contrast&color depth - which can be adjusted to your preference. No matter how hard I try there some kind of magic with that "dready" Panny JPG. Especially love that rendering from sharp to unsharp and detail vs NR. It is clearly per pixel adjustment and it is so natural unlike LR (or for that matter any other RAW converter) which does everything globally until you step into local adjustments.

However take my words with grain of salt - maybe I just fell in love with this "beast" ;-) and tomorrow I would like to cancel this post to noavail.

Dear Vlad,

as I am new to this camera and did not have the time for a refined workflow I gave the Jpeg profiles a try. These are my findings:

Standard is absolutely usable and gives good sintones. But I was finding me to raise colour and contrast to get them the way I was used it from my EM1 Mark1.

The pictures posted are shot in Vivid mode, which is comparable to Olympus output IMHO.

Take care

Franz

I never shot with vivid mode on several Pannys - however no I see I have to give it a try with GH5 - your shots look really immersive.

Thank you, Albert. That is exactly what I feel when I look at this picture and think back.
