Hi,
I recently bought the Lexar Professional 2000x 128GB SDXC UHS-II/U3 (Up to 300MB/s Read), and it works fine with the camera.
Tested a sequence of consecutive shots and the buffer got busy after the 22nd shot. Replicated the same test with the Lexar Professional 1066x 128GB VPG-65 CompactFlash card (Up to 160MB/s Read) and could reach 28-29 photos before reaching a bottleneck due to the transfer rate.
Very empirical and superficial tests, but I came to the conclusion that the Canon 5d mark iv cannot take advantage of the higher write capabilities of the UHS-II card. While Lexar doesn't publish write speed, I read it could easily top 240MBs, almost 50% faster than the fastest CompactFlash card.
Correct conclusion?
Many thanks, Stefano
