The one thing missing from micro four thirds: small weather sealed lenses

3 years later and it still hasn't come. :/

I fully agree. A weather-sealed 17mm prime would be welcome, for a start.

One current lens which intrigues me is the Panasonic 14-42mm Mark II. It's tiny, very sharp, and barely extends on zooming. (Of course, the maximum aperture very rapidly closes down, but the sharpness from wide-open offsets that to some extent.) It seems to me that this lens could easily be reworked into an robust internal-zoom weather-sealed design at under 150 grams.

I would buy your ideas, either one really.I hope Panasonic or Olympus is listening. Maybe a 25mm f1.8 (or brighter) with power ois, close focusing and fast AF. I would pay $500 for that lens and I would buy an em5 ii just to put it on.
