Good evening,

This was a challenging object to photograph. It took many nights and attempts to get a decent result. I will certainly try again next year once I am more experienced, but I am happy with the result in this first attempt. This is an HOO composition of 14 Ha and 14 OIII 10 min subs taken with an Atik 428Ex Mono CCD and a WO Star 71 refractor.

Chris helped me so much with the post processing of this image, thank you so much for your patience and mentoring. This image really gave me an accelerated course on post processing, and it has become my favorite object so far.

Clear skies.

Good Evening!

Thumbs up for your helmet. For that quite short total integration time you achieved a great result. Congrats on your result.

best regards,

Looks pretty good!

Matias, great job with this image. Maybe we will give more integration next go at it! I am impressed with how much you have learned so quickly. Keep it going and thanks for allowing me to help with these subs...it was great fun.

take care my friend

Thank you Michael! It has been great fun. Next year I will go with more subs, and maybe I will have my Atlas Pro mount by then and I can go for longer exposures.

Cheers!

Thank you for the comment Chris, I was pleased being my first time with this object.

Clear skies.

Thank you! You know the only reason why I'm able to learn so quick is because you have been patient showing me the ins and outs. I wish everyone that wanted to start in the hobby could have someone to work with them closely. It makes all the difference and cuts on the frustration.

Now we need to set up your new observatory in your new house!

Thanks again.
