American Beauty - a patriotic young woman

You miss the point entirely, people....

It's not that I don't care what you think....

THIS JUST IS NOT THE FORUM THAT IT SHOULD BE DISCUSSED IN.

This is not a group for your politics, I don't care HOW important it is to you. I don't care WHAT you believe, this is NOT the place to spout it.

Chris
People....life is WAY too short.....breathe deep, get over
yourselves....enjoy life.
And when you do things, knowing that they're going to upset, then
it tells the world that you have serious problems with your
socializing skills.

You really do need to work on being thoughtful towards others and
that what they consider important, even if you don't find it
important.

It's not that hard.

Now here is a man that sees what I mean!

This is a PHOTOGRAPHY forum.

Thanks man, Im glad you see things this way.

This is a place to post PICTURES....look at PICTURES....and to
discuss PHOTOS. This is the point I am making entirely.
What you should say is..... "This is a place to post any sort of PICTURES, disrespectful, pornagraphic, hateful or otherwise so we can disregard other people's feeling and sensibilities, as long as we get to do what WE want."

Remember, you may not want to go there, pornagraphic, but others do. And how about clear cut hate/racist behavior? Should that be allowed. How far is the line kicked for your convenience before your sensibilities are attacked?

Please complete the thought as you overly simplify the thought.

Are your sensibilities the only standard?

If someone is offended, especially with a national symbol, no matter the country of origin, it behoves people to be thoughtful instead of making themselves hateful.

Hateful is having a lack of consideration towards others. And if someone wants to pull a stick out and beat you with it (which I'm not suggesting), maybe your brought it on yourself with your lack of consideration.

Hateful behavior, is hateful behavior, no matter how you try to couch it in a protective mantel of artistic expression.

Oh please.....you people are laughable.........seriously.

Do you READ what you type? Does that not just sound insane to you?

Chris
There's no need for foul language as the man was right and you're
wrong in how you handled the flag.

Hateful behavior is hateful behavior no matter how loud you try to
pretend it's not.

You were wrong in what you did and that's something you have to
accept. Also when you take a symbol and knowingly disregard
protocol, you bring offense down on yourself, purposefully.

So don't get twisted with this need to fight back when you brought
the comments onto yourself.

Your behavior was disrespectful and you brought disrespect upon
yourself.

Accept it and move on. Why? Your behavior is indefenseable.

This is as good as any comedy routine I have seen in ages. I keep waiting for the punchline....

Chris
Why is it that people feel respect only comes with things they care
about and it doesn't apply to things they don't care about.

Not saying that of you.

I suppose I could go around stepping on everything that's sacred in
the world that I don't support and that would be valid? Of course
it wouldn't.

Hate is hate, even if it's not intentional.

You're above attitude is the point. You clearly don't care who you hurt, all you care about is your self and forcing your opinion on others. How thoughtful. Posting a national image, in of itself, brings on the political debate. Next time use a college pendant if the image is all it's about. In this case, you wanted the political debate, you knew the image would cause political debate and now that it's drawn political debate you have and I don't care attitude.

You want the controversy and you know it. If you didn't you would say you had made a mistake and were sorry and move on. So, you've made yourself hateful and you are trying to wiggle out with this I don't care attitude.

We get the growth of our seeds.

This is like talking to the proverbial wall.......nothing will come from this discussion. You people crack me up with how serious you are over three silly stupid little pictures. I cannot believe the way you people are reacting to something like this.

And, please....I wish people would stop saying that I don't "understand" flag ettiquete. Not understanding something and Not agreeing with it are two entirely different things.

Just because I see things differently than you great "patriots" doesn't make me wrong, and this is ludicrous.

I had some religiously controversial pics that I almost posted once....I am SO happy that I didn't post them. I would have thought that "artists" would like to see things of that nature, but this sure isn't the group for any of that, I can see.

Chris
Considering the amount of controversy that surrounds the subject
matter, there was no innocents there, just a complete lack of
regard for other people's feelings on the matter.

Why are the artist's feelings valid but others invalid? The artist
was knowingly insensitive and brought the reasonable attack on by
his own behavior.

Guilt is guilt.

I'm not going to show disrespect to others and I expect others to
shot respect to my feelings. That's called tolerence. Intentional
disrespect or not allowing for offense, is intolerence.

Remember, life's a two way street and if you offend, you have a
choice of stonewalling the individual you offended or appologizing
and moving on.

We have free choice how we'll comport ourselves when rightfully
called on the carpet.

Who I hurt? LMAO......Who I "hurt"? Oh....please......seriously.....that is just ludicrous.

all you care about is your self and forcing your opinion on others.

WHAT? I TRIED to share some pictures with you. Period. PERIOD. I didn't start this BS.

How thoughtful. Posting a national image, in of itself, brings on the political debate.

A NATIONAL image? ooooooooook.........wow....

Next time use a college pendant if the image is all it's about.

What? What are you talking about? Does anyone get what this guy is saying? Am I the only one blown away by all this garbage?

In this case, you wanted the political debate, you knew the image would cause political debate and now that it's drawn political debate you have and I don't care attitude.

I HONESTLY didn't know that those silly pics would bunch your panties up like this. Trust me on that one. I can't stand debating with morons, and I try to avoid it all costs. If I had any clue I would have to deal with you, I would have deleted those "controversial national" images....this is outrageous.

You want the controversy and you know it. If you didn't you would say you had made a mistake and were sorry and move on. So, you've made yourself hateful and you are trying to wiggle out with this I don't care attitude.

We get the growth of our seeds.

Yeah, so plant a clue.

Hateful? LOL..........

wow......

I swore I wouldn't reply any more to this thread, but this is just too funny to pass up. You are giving me the best chuckle I have had in eons.

Chris
This is as good as any comedy routine I have seen in ages. I keep
waiting for the punchline....
There's no punchline, there's only a choice. The choice is yours.
You can be hateful or not.

Your decision, not mine.

"If one does something that's offensive, and it's brought to one's attention, then it's only civil to offer an appology"

I will NEVER apologize to YOU or anyone for having a different opinion about something than you do.

If you were offended by my pics, than YOU have the problem, not me.

I will never apologize for not sharing your views on anything. And, I think it's outrageous for you to expect me to.

Chris

Chris made an apparently innocent mistake by posting
photos in which he used a flag inappropriately.

Unfortunately, the first person to point out Chris' error
did so in an unecessarily harsh and confrontational way.

Chris could have ended the problem right there by
acknowledging his own error, while politely chiding
his critic for the unecessary harshness.

Instead, Chris chose to be MORE rude, and rant
hysterically, without acknowledging his own role in
creating the problem.

So we have different varieties of patriots calling each
other names and generally looking bad, while the
anti-Americans are laughing up a storm. Not a very
pretty picture.

Please knock it off, guys.

This is like talking to the proverbial wall.......nothing will come
from this discussion. You people crack me up with how serious you
are over three silly stupid little pictures. I cannot believe the
way you people are reacting to something like this.
That's because you lack respect. To many, it's not silly. It's not hard to leave it alone but since you don't care, then you've made your decision that only you count and others don't. Fine. But realize what you're really saying instead of pretending that you're not.
And, please....I wish people would stop saying that I don't
"understand" flag ettiquete. Not understanding something and Not
agreeing with it are two entirely different things.
And intentionally offending, without reservation is a completely other form of hateful behavior also.
Just because I see things differently than you great "patriots"
doesn't make me wrong, and this is ludicrous.
Sorry, you are on the wrong side of the issue and it does make you wrong. Next time someone steps on your sensibilities, remember this thread and realize that nobody is allowed to have feelings because you don't care.
I had some religiously controversial pics that I almost posted
once....I am SO happy that I didn't post them. I would have thought
that "artists" would like to see things of that nature, but this
sure isn't the group for any of that, I can see.
Why would anybody want to go around upsetting people and their religious convictions. Just a question, were they Controversial Christian Pics? Why do I ask? Those are the only kind that I personally have ever seen posted; never another religion. Funny how that is.

Oh....please......seriously.....that is just ludicrous.
You're the one who posted you don't care.
all you care about is your self and forcing your opinion on others.

WHAT? I TRIED to share some pictures with you. Period. PERIOD. I
didn't start this BS.
And when it was posted that the person was offended by your obvious lack of respect, you went off with your don't care attitude. Never a word of contrition.
I HONESTLY didn't know that those silly pics would bunch your
panties up like this.
Not one of my posts have bunched up panties. I'm simply letting you see what the other side of the coin things of you.
Yeah, so plant a clue.
The clue was planted and you read the clue about being thoughtful to others. It's your choice to ignore or not. We've all been taught these same ideas of socialability and sensitivity towards others. We also have been given the free choice of whether or not we going to care or not.

The seed was planted a long time ago when we all were children, some the seed failed to germinate and in others, they're ashamed of caring (ego)so they hide their feelings towards others. Nobody is an enigma.

Well, that's what makes you hateful, only your feelings matter.
If you were offended by my pics, than YOU have the problem, not me.
I'm not offended by the image and I have no control over your hateful behavior. You choose to make yourself hateful, not I.
I will never apologize for not sharing your views on anything. And,
I think it's outrageous for you to expect me to.
No. You've made it very clear that you're not a contrite person. If you want to be hateful, that's perfectly fine. As the saying goes, "It's a free country." But, hate is hate no matter how you try and wiggle. And if being hated by many floats your boat, cool.
