Please find below an attempt for the Flaming Star Nebula IC405
Exposure was 160 images a 45 seconds with the XF50-140mm at f=140mm, f/2.8, ISO1600 - corrected for vignetting via flat frames, processed in PI, then rnc-color stretched. Taken straight from my balcony (great with those freezing temperatures
)
Also visible are M36 and M38, the smaller and larger open clusters to the left, as well as the "red spot in the top left" that I believe is Sh2-235, a rather prominent HII region. Also visible are IC410 and IC 417, the smaller nebulae to the left of IC405.
While the image below is cropped to show the flaming star nebula, the wider surrounding shows quite a number of Bok globules - will need to invest some more time to get those properly features.

Flaming Star Nebula and the wider surroundings, Image cropped 50 % from the original frame
Pleased to see that I am getting quite a bit of fainter nebulae and dust - Unfortunately I seem to have a small issue with my flats that produce the little black spot on the left side which I am unable to correct.
C&C more than welcome as always !
Clear Skies,
Michael.
