Striking images! Which lens, please?

18-35A ..and Thank You!

I like it a lot! I have SD10, 2xSD14, SD1M, and DP1. For first time (imho) focus makes all the difference with SDQ (focus peaking I mean) :)

Nice! I prefer the second one. You seem to have a good handle on the noise (not too much, but it doesn't look like you've blurred the image by over-compensating for noise). What settings/processing did you do with regard to noise with that second image? I also wonder what aperture you shot that photo at. It seems to have a pretty deep depth of field.

Beautiful images CardinalSin: The 18-35 mm Art lens really works well on the sdQ. Thanks for sharing ;)

PS. I agree the focus peaking is a great addition to Sigma cameras!

Magnificent captures.

Thanks for posting.

Photo was taken yesterday during my two red irish setters "field run". It was -10C and not very much effort on this photo and taken handheld...I left camera in my car at first, but saw the landscape and desided to give a try???

F5.6, 1/100 iso100

I used Kalpanika wrapper to convert RAW to DNG, Edited in LR to my taste, but didn't do anything about noise. Sorry, I can't remember LR settings to specify???

P.S. Credits to Kalpanika Crew again!!! :)

Really nice images Petri.

Glad your enjoying the SDQ it's a very nice camera ;-)

The colours are a tad vibrant but we all have slightly different tastes.

In the first image I love the painted road markings which have made a great lead-in line to the sunset or sunrise, this is very well thought out.

Thanks for sharing.

Kind regards Lea.
