after a bit of freezing rain overnight. I'm enjoying the XP2, and no complaints about the 60mm lens, either.

Such a versatile lens as your picture shows with both sharpness and creamy bokeh and very useful close focus. Every photographer should carry one.

The sky is full of holes that let the rain get in, the holes are very small - that's why the rain is thin.

Second picture. Same Raw in Cap.10. Flowers masked and the rest of the image desaturated, contrast added to make an Acros look a like.

My newest toy (infrared converted X-E1) continues to get most of my attention. Keeping my fingers crossed that my X-E2 is not the jealous type.

Nice work. Good to see so many Fujistas switching on to IR. What conversion did you get, 720nm?

Thank you kindly! Like yours it is a 590nm conversion. It is still early days for my IR post-processing -- I'm using software in new ways and doing a lot of learning/experimenting to see what is possible. I may eventually get a Hoya R72 filter in order to play around with 720nm images.

Almost all of mine are with Hoya R72 now. It allows for different colour renderings than 590nm but also makes BW IR easier and more crisp I find. I can see you're already on your way and exploring the possibilities in post processing - which are pretty near endless. Good luck to you.

Thank you, shot in RAW and processed in LR and NIK Silver for the B&W conversion. Also all shots were overexposed +1 stop to get good strong whites. With this much snow everything just goes to gray if you don't adjust exposure.

Nice set. Jerry comments a foot of snow is sticking around Portland. Your bio says you hail from Salem, Or. Do you usually get this much snow?
