Going A7 II - what primes to start with?

What exact adapter do you use? I tried looking at Metabones website but there are so many options.

Is it feasible to only use Canon glass on A7 II? I like the idea of A7 II but Sony lens are so expensive I doubt I can buy any in the short term.
