--Would HIGHLY reccmnd. the epson C82. On sale now for around 60.00 because its being replaced by the C84. It is an EXCELLENT text machine and it also does a remarkable job on graphics mixed with text, and on enhanced matte or inkjet photo quality, it will do prints that will amaze you. The current price is less than the ink...which, btw is pigment ink...all in all quite a great bargain....I have a HiTi that does great 4x6 pictures. I need a printer
primarily for text and it would also be nice to print some nice
8x10's. I would like to hear from some owners how well the 850 does
with text printing-how fast is it, how fast does it suck the ink,
etc. Any comments would be appreciated.
I recently got an i850 and it does a beautiful, fast job with text. Too soon to tell about ink consumption, but the tank is relatively small compared to my HP 845c.I have a HiTi that does great 4x6 pictures. I need a printer
