They died a while ago. Their bedroom, with their memories.

Good to see you're back, Erik!

Thanks, Cyril - it has been an "adventure", and a wake-up as to how we become dependent on these new gadgets: my computer is now - even - my "radio", I am at present listening to a radio station on the opposite coast of the US, much better than the reception of a local station on a regular radio which ironically is interfered with by the computer and other electronic devices in the room :-|

So what do you see ?

Love it!

Going with your "Mythical Creature", I see a very slim Ichthyosaur playing in the surf in a vanished world.
Thank you Eric. Yes the Ichthyosaur (a new one on me) fits the bill nicely.

Glad to see you back, Erik -- even without full function. Good luck on your internet connection. My best wishes to you and yours for a happy 2017.

Very good photo, I would like a little more contrasted, but it is a matter of taste
Thank-you, Vidau. Perhaps more contrast would be better.

Tremendous detail in the gold ornament. Suspended close to camera? Nice effect.

David Dollevoet
Thank you.

I do not remember exactly the distance to the ornament, but the camera was not really that close and I used an EFL 84.0mm zoom. An external flash was used for added lighting, bounced toward a white ceiling.

Well done.

Lovely light effects - the tiny diffraction colors on the Golden Orb, and the tree ornament light balls in 'bokeh'-land.

Thank you for your kind evaluation.

I might have a Christmas card motif for this year?

A view of the Christmas Lights Across Canada light show that during the Christmas season projects animated artful imagery onto the Centre Block and Peace Tower of Canada's Parliament. All colour in this photo except for the beige stone, green copper roof, and red of the flag is projected light.
