Returned the A6500

Try-before-buy purchases and frivolous returns generate shipping costs that Amazon simply passes on to all of us.
Some DPR users have gotten lifetime bans from Amazon for this, so perhaps abusing the privilege generates its own personal costs that are incurred by the shopper too.

Personally I think they should give people warnings early on, so that people can curtail frivolous returns before it ever reaches that stage. Or people who are returning too much stuff could be forced to pay their own return shipping or only be allowed to buy Warehouse Deals for certain expensive items or impose other measures to discourage the behavior earlier on.

I bought from a Sony retailer nearby and paid 10% restocking fee for returning.

They didn't carry a demo unit and suggested I preorder and return should I not like it.

Wow, you sure seem to enjoy buying cameras.

Are these all cameras you bought and used for a day and then returned?

But I see you are still missing several major cameras like the Nikon D810 and anything in medium format.

Nope, sorry to disappoint, but I keep many things I like for more than a day.
