thanks for the comment....you think this guy has mischief in his eyes.....check out the female !!! ....cathy...Several states have this beauty as their state bird....I was born in North Carolina....

I wish we had some little birds here ... but then again, maybe not LOL .. I have enough trouble shooting the big ones. Nice shot cathy. To post multiple pics just copy the next url and paste it under the first one etc, and if you have a number of pics to tell a story, sometimes its better to post the links. ( leave out the .jpg)

Nice details... how far away and/or how much zoom?

thanks for your comment.....the feeder is probably 3 or 4 feet from my vantage point...I use full 10x optical zoom....thanx for the female....she is beautiful...I posted a female also...at least, I think I did !! I had clipboarded both the male and female URL's...but....when I pasted for this forum, only the last URL would paste....Heaven only knows where that second URL # was...I'll get the hang of it eventually...thanx again...cathy

I knew that from seeing VA plates around. Nice shot. Did you know that the cardinal is also the state bird of WV. Wonder if that's because we were all one state until the Civil War. At any rate, the license plate here has a rose breasted grosbeak not a cardinal. That's because they're making a comeback. Saw one the other day. I know this is completely OT You are definitely becoming the bird lady.

Only the contents of the most recent "copy" command gets saved to the clipboard, so if you did copy#1, copy#2, paste, that's what happened. If you did copy#1, paste, copy#2, paste, then I'm not sure what happened, other than maybe needing to hit return between the two pastes to space them out.
