Just received my third unit. Firmware is the current firmware. These are really great Speedlights and getting it for $109.00 was a deal. battery life and cycle times are amazing on these with the Li-Ion pack.

I also have the Streaklight 360IIn

Really a great product for the price. Highly recommend them.

I sold off my SB600's and SB700's (still have the SB900)

I have one on the way, too! This will be my second Zoom Li-Ion TTL flash. I also have a manual version that uses AA batteries (it was just $49). My main location light this fall has been the AD360II-C. I also have an XPLOR 600 TTL, but it is wrapped up under the Christmas tree, lol. I'm really enjoying the convenience of the built-in RF for these various devices.

Are you able to get the li-on Radio trigger to focus assist on top of your D750 ?

I've been in adorama twice checking out at least 2 different triggers each time on my d750 and never got the focus assist to work .Trigger had it enabled in the menu ,cam was on af single point

I have had it work, I don't really use the AF assist but it has worked. There is a menu setting on the R2 (X1) that enables it but I don't remember what setting it is.

Hi all, sorry to cut in. But I have a question about the 860II's. If you have one on the camera, and one on a stand, do they communicate with each other completely, sharing TTL info and all?

When I saw the $109 price I wasn't sure it would do everything ( with out the "pass through" transmitter in the camera's hotshoe.) Being unsure, I bought just one unit, and now the price is back up to $189. So if they do everything, I guess I'll have to wait for another sale................................Jeff Barlowe

As long as one is set to master (on camera) and the other is set to slave (off camera) yes they communicate

sorry man where you can get the deal with that price ?

Thanks madecov, now I wish I bought 2 of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( at the $ 109 price )

On the transmitter, if you hold down the "ch/ok" button, the fn menu will appear. use the thumb wheel to move to different functions and the "GR" button to select/enter.

the functions are:

R2T-N CUSTOM FUNCTIONS
C.Fn-00 -
Synchronization Delay Setting - [ 0 = OFF ] [ 1-100 US delay setting ]
C.Fn-01 - Single Contact Mode - [ 0 = OFF ] [ 1 = ON, stops transmitter going to sleep ]
C.Fn-02 - Zoom Setting - [ 0 = No changes ] [ AU = Changes with lens ] [ 20, 24, 28, 35, 50, 70, 80, 105, etc ]
C.Fn-03 - PC Sync Socket - [ 0 = PC Sync connect with Camera ] [ 1 = PC Sync connects with Flash ]
C.Fn-04 - Multi Flash ON/OFF - [ 0 = OFF ] [ 1 = ON ]
C.Fn-05 - Enable 1/256 Power Level - [ 0 = OFF ] [ 1 = ON, 1/256 is displayed as 1/128- ]
C.Fn-06 - AF Assist Light ON/OFF - [ 0 = OFF ] [ 1 = ON ]

Hope it works for you.
