How did you get that leaf shutter into those lenses?

The vending machines are the sharpest so far, I think.

However, I think a full frame Sony E-mount body such as the A7ii would have given equally good results -- admittedly with a different angle of view. Your images don't seem to have the bite that I am used to seeing from the original DP3M lens.

An interesting project, well worth doing.

Not disagreeing because I don't own a DP3 Merrill. However, I do wonder if the possibility of using admittedly softer lenses which are "better" in other ways (contrast, color) might be a "good thing" for some?
 
Very interesting. I thought I was brave changing the mount on my SD1M. I bow to the adventurer in you.
 
So did you do this yourself, or was the conversion done by a vendor?
