A late afternoon reflection

Hey Mahesh,

waht a nice idillic landscape you have captured. Almost looks like a drawing. I like the reflection and the grass in the water a lot. Gives the pic a nice touch, which it would probably not have if everything was perfectly clean. And it's also a nice coincidence that the mountain in the back and the trees on the hill in the front front move up and down like a wave.

Did you shoot this near Seattle?

Hi Mahesh

Nice and peaceful indeed ....

good detail from front to back also ....

I like the drama of your sunset mountain which I just commented on more but that is probably because the light seems much more even across this image ... in the same way that dramatic light on a person can make an image I think also more attention grabbing.

Great observation about the mountain and hills, Ion...that's exactly what I was thinking of when I composed this shot...and thanks for the kind comments. This was shot about 3 hrs north east of Seattle...near Mt. Baker. This mountain is called Shuksan.

Thanks, Mark. I agree with you...I too like the sunset shot with the red glow to the mountain top a little better and exactly for the same reasons! Nice observation, bud!
