Can we expect A99-2 focus on a E mount body?

Very, very impressive imho...

I know that the A99 benefits from its dual AF system, but do you think something comparable could be implemented in an A7-3 ?

I'd see something like this in an A9 launched together with a new LA-EA module next year. Hopefully the new LA-EA module also operates well with the existing mark II A7 bodies. But that's all wishful thinking, we've been waiting for a new LA-EA for already long enough to question sony's will to really integrate A and E mounts.

Brian Smith just made a post along similar lines:

i rathe metabones keep updating the e mount adapter so that i can use all my canon glass like native e mount lenses

You really think Sony plans full integration of A mount ?
As I wrote above, it's wishful thinking. But if they release a pro E-mount body, then it would be wise to capitalise on the already available pro-line of A-mount glass in addition to the growing line of pro-grade E-mount glass. I don't see them releasing a 300/2.8 or a 500/4 in E-mount anytime soon, so giving a pro-level way to adapt the A-mount version on the A9 would be a start.
