There is no possible answer here, you have not even specified which camera you want to check for 'silent shutter' or 'time lapse'.
'This camera' in your world - is what? Please.
As unanswerable a question as I have ever seen or heard.

If, by "this camera," you mean either the a6300 or a6500 then the answer is yes, though TimeLapse is added via an app from Sony.
Not that hard of question to answer even with the vagueness.

You can also use an intervalometer for time lapse. The Sony app is nice too.

For which camera? Please be more specific, there are over 15 APS-C E-Mount cameras?
Only the A6300 and A6500 so far have the silent mode.

I believe I have seen it happen when dpreview will move a question in the comments to a camera review to the appropriate forum. I would guess that is what happened here and we ended up with a vague question
but as everyone else said, A6300 and A6500 has an absolutely silent shutter. That is the main reason I bought the A6300 and it is so nice to have in family situations.

Used silent shutter the first event So I could shoot literally next to the priest's ear during a confirmation ceremony.
