My love affair with the 20mm f/1.8G ED N continues!

Stop the lens down to f10 - f16, point it at a strong source of light, in my case the bright sun and enjoy the beautiful sunstars it produces.

This pretty fall scene was earlier this evening in my backyard with the sunlight filtering through my majestic maple tree.

One of my favorite features of the 20mm 1.8 is the straight aperture blades. This effect is even more pronounced on the new 24mm 1.8g though due to the slightly longer focal length.

I keep batting back and forth and cant figure out which one to sell off... They're both stunning optically.
 
Great image...I concur on the 20...I have the 14-24 which I love...but the 20 is so light and easy...used on the image below:
