I've just spent a fascinating afternoon going through the manual & setting up my new X-T2. I've found (or most probably not yet seen the appropriate page in the manual!) several issues:

1. The X-T1 had a very useful 'silent' setting which turned all sound, flash & lights off. Anyone yet found the equivalent on the X-T2?

2. When reviewing photos is there a way of getting to the max. mag with a single press of a function button to assess focus?

3. Someone enquired about whether it was OK to use the older type (non ‘S’) battery. Page 268 of the manual says the old batteries can be used in the power grip.

4. I’ve found that the MIC level can only be set when in movie mode.

So a person could run the NP-126s battery in the camera body, and a pair of Wasabi batteries in the grip and all would work fine in continuous & boost mode?

I ordered two extra NP-126s batteries yesterday and it hurt to spend $130+ on two little batteries. Kind of ridiculous. That is like what... 15 of the Wasabi NP-126 batteries?

I would think that a Wasabi 'S' battery will be available fairly soon (just my opinion).

I just got raped purchased one of the S batteries. Complete ripoff.

You push the back wheel in to get maximum magnification of playback image. Remember it will be a smaller if preview if you are shooting raw. I've found a fast way of switching to card 2 if you're backing up jpeg to it is to press the joystick twice. It's a little fiddley, but useful if there is an image you want to check critical details. I'm assuming you're shooting raw to card one and jpeg to card 2 in this scenario.

I just ordered 3 extra so I would have 4 to use in the grip two at a time. Didn't know if it was important to have a battery in the body as well as I never did in the past when using a grip. and yeah, it hurt me too, for $204. I really don't want to buy more as I have 5 of the non s versions I used formally with the X-T1, and now X-Pro2.

FYI I've been using four different third party batteries in the X-T2 over the last two days and I've noticed no performance difference between them and the Fuji branded ones. Save your money.
