Did you process the RAW in DPP 4.5? If so you might want to use "Sharpness" = 3 instead of using "Unsharp mask". I find the unsharp mask setting in DPP severely degrades image quality.

Your 24-105L is quite good....I'd be very happy to own your copy. And don't take that lightly cause I don't think I've come across one that is as nice as what I see out of yours. It seems decent enough at 105, and its actually quite sharp on your 32mm (which admittedly only has subject area on the bottom of the frame which leaves a good chuck of the image circle untested near the top although I'm not sure where you applied crop). Remember zooms vary *a lot* and have various qualities across different focal lengths. Your seems good at wide, and pretty decent at 105, I've seen horrendous copies before that just never held up.

Do not sell your 24-105L for the new one until you truly test it against your old one quite thoroughly is my advice.

I love when people are posting full-size crops not because I can pretend to determine sensor quality, but it is more fun to look at lens quality which is IMO an overwhelming factor in IQ. If you really want to fan the flames of Canon vs Sony systems, try looking at the F4 Sony zooms on the Sony forum lol.

Is there something that has allowed 30MP images to be uploaded to Dpreview cause I don't remember being allowed to post large files before.

Also after pixel peeping your images it looks like you may need to do some pixel remapping...if this isn't available in the menus you need to do the lens-cap manual sensor clean fix. You have a few white and red hot spots in your images.
