Poll: Where are you from

Funny though, looking at the different nationalities at this thread there is certainly a high representation of people from the US, despite the fact that this site is situated in London.

The approximate same frequency is confirmed when looking at Dpreviews statistics regarding the "Top Geographic Regions" (from september 2001):

North America 62.2 %
Western Europe 15.8 %
Asia 11.2 %
Northern Europe 3.2 %
Australia 2.0 %
Eastern Europe 1.0 %
Rest 3.6 %

Or, when looking at the "Most Active Countries" (from September 2001):
United States 60.9 %
Canada 6.7 %
United Kingdom 5.6 %
Germany 3.3 %
Japan 2.7 %
Netherlands 2.7 %
Rest 15.9 %

And the average visit length is 17 minutes 47 seconds. I'd better stop now before overrunning average time!!!

... and that would of course be a Belgian living in Tokyo, Japan (lol).
Just wondering if somebody is actually reading the answers, or just
posting one's own thing?... :-)
Yes, some people do most likely use this site as another stage for having the fifteen minutes of fame.

I am impressed Klaus, at least you are reading some of the answers :-)

Fame on such site is actually an interesting thing... Besides the obvious fact that you have no idea how many people actually read your posts, you have no idea who they are, what they think... this might be a very lonely place actually.

Cheers from Tokyo then.

Best regards,
Bernard

Fame does not necessarily require a reflective audience (on the contrary) - a creative fantasy might often do the job much better.

Cheers,
