Image 1, doesn't work for me, the balance is all wrong, the girl looks like she's run into the image and is not part of the original pose. Unless that's what was intended.
Image 2, the ladie are on the right side and looking out of the picture, which just looks strange to me.
I think composition is an issue here. What do others think?

Both are not very good at telling a story. The first one a little better but it's still odd how he and her are not interacting, the second makes it really hard to understand what the relationship is between these two.

What are these strange grey bumps sticking out from behind the lady in pink's lower back and upper shoulders? Looks like you goofed your PP. It also looks like you used a gaussian blur on the background. I would advise against doing that.
