*#287|MONOCHROME|24 June 2016 -> 3 July|POST YOURS!*

That a way! You caught the light!!

I really like this! The kind of shot I'd love to have in the office at home.

niiiiiiiiiiice.

Very successful B&W. From your remark about no PP, was it captured in monochrome mode or simply converted to that format from the RAW file as shot?

There is a lot of magic going on in there, with the geometric patterns and the play of light on the uneven surface of the walls. A great view!

C&C always welcome.

A delicate dance well rendered.

Playing with my new camera. I like the LMonoichrome effect.

My nickel, since the penny is now discontinued...

In fact you can just about see the hood at the very bottom of the image posted, in case anyone doubts me.

Thanks for that additional info, Aberaeron. Yes, those art filters are often very effective in achieving a particular look SOOC.

A well handled set of B&Ws. I particularly like the first two.

Before seeing your explanatory note, I was wishing for a bit less exposure. But that was your choice. Now I'm pining for a bit more contrast. Hmm....perhaps best to settle down and enjoy the excellent subject matter and the treatment you have given it. :-)

I like 1, 2 &6 of this set the best, with #1 being my favorite.
