Your favorite recent pic...?

I gave it the nickname of wondertube because it just blows me away with sharpness, color and contrast. I have had the lens for over 10 yrs and I didn't use it much at all until recently-- hence WonderTube.
this was not a set shot--- spur of the moment with the wondertube
and monopd at 1/250 at 300 mm on a D60.

In case anybody else could use a break from whether Best Buy is
the devil, the merits of copyright infringement vs sueing AIDS
patients, and front-focusing / back-talking SLR lenses ... maybe we
can all take a break and share our favorite pic we've shot in the
past week or two??

Here's mine:

Shot with an antique D60 through a Sigma 15-30.

Had the 10D in Bolivia for a month in some extreme situations. It handled like a champ. This photo was taken in a village deep in the Amazon basin.
28-135IS- full zoom -1/40 @ f5.6 handheld.

B&W conversion with slight sepia tint courtesy of 'Johny's Tint & Tone Action' (..see 'Retouching' forum for more info)

Two most recent favorites.

The first one was taken Sunday during a grey, murky morning.

The second one was taken Wednesday when I was giving my macro lens a workout (don't use it very often). Maybe not the best shot of the day but it is my favorite.

Nice shot guy!!

While some of us are actually taking pictures ...........some are
just talking about taking about the equipment that is used to take
pictures..... I can't believe I didn't see DavidP's name like 50
times in this............take that back.........I think I can
believe it!! LOL!!!

This isn't my most recent but it was taken a week ago.......that I
happen to like... I have more on the way from other sexy swimsuit
models....that I haven't had the time to upload their galleries as
of yet....

Enjoy!

I have the same feelings about my 75-300 USM IS. Being a telephoto junkie, this is my walkabout lens.
